I completely agree with this statement.Undoubtedly, vegetarianism is very popular among the people, but like other supply system it has own pluses and minuses.
Let's start with the positive side of vegetarianism.Vegetarian diet includes, as a rule: nuts, grains, seeds, legumes, vegetables and fruits. Therefore, it is rich in fiber and vitamins.Vegetables and fruits provide vitamins and minerals that are necessary for the normal functioning of the intestines.
Also, plants contain a very small amount of fat and cholesterol and this, in turn, minimizes the possibility of developing diseases associated with obesity. In addition vegetarianism reduces cholesterol in the blood and excludes risk of developing problems of the cardiovascular system and many other diseases
There have been many studies that show that those people who have a vegetarian diet have lower blood pressure, risk of diabetes, less osteoporosis, cancer, heart problems, obesity and arthritis.
Another small plus is that vegetarian food is cheaper than meat.
Despite the fact that a vegetarian diet provides the body with all the essential nutrients, some of which we can only get from meat or fish.A vegetarian diet does not provide the full needs of the person in protein and calcium.Meat, chicken and fish contain large amounts of iron and zinc. Milk, cheese and yogurt are sources of calcium. Moreover Meat is a major source of protein.
In conclusion, I want to say that if everyone was a vegetarian , we would have less famine in the world, people would be healthier and lived longer. In the world would be higher population and less violence.
